My practice begins where the familiar world ceases to be sufficient. I am drawn to what lies beyond its surface: hidden aspects of reality and forms of presence that elude ordinary awareness. By shifting perception from its habitual state, I explore what usually stays out of reach.
Everything I make comes out of this. Personal experience becomes the ground of the world I build — real to me, and I leave open what it is in the end.
This investigation became the basis of V.O.I.D., the theoretical ground of my method: the field, the presences within it, and the channels through which all of it becomes perceptible.
My practice moves across different media, with photography and painting at its core.
Photography builds on what the camera caught: I assemble images from many frames, adding what was never there. Sometimes I shoot from within the state itself, and the image carries it as it is.
In painting nothing is bound at all: the image can come straight from the state, and I let it emerge through the process.
